If you are available and live in the Stillwater area, plan on joining us for this wonderful adventure we take each week through the bible. Not only is the study of Gods word a wonderful journey, the weekly fellowship with women in Christ is very rewarding, your experiences and insight may be just the thing someone needs to hear. Our study is Beth Moore’s “A Woman’s Heart” video teaching series.  It is taken primarily from the Old Testament book of Exodus and takes you on a journey into why God would choose to live in a wilderness tabernacle made by human hands and explores the parallels between the physical tabernacle and the tabernacle of the human heart. This next summer will mark our 80th annivesary as an organized church.  We will have several special events and activities at that time.  One of these is a possible “Mortgage Burning.”  We currently owe about $29,000 on the church and by June (when we celebrate our 80th) the balance will be down to $20,000.  If you would be able to apply some funds to this goal above your regular tithe and offering please mark your gift “Mortgage” and it will be applied to that goal.  It would be an extra special addition to the festivities already on the agenda.  Please check back for more details as the day gets closer and please be praying for this goal to be met.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be having a special service Christmas Sunday.  It will start at 10am and conclude around 11:30pm (No Sunday School).  We will have a very inspirational message from Pastor Henry and joyful Christmas songs.  We would love for you to join us if you can!

On December 11th we will be having our annual parade of homes.  It will be from 3pm-6pm and you can see some beautiful houses decorated for christmas and also enjoy a  progressive meal as you visit each home.  Register at each house for a prize drawing!  Donations for our Women’s ministry group will be accepted at any of the homes.  Look for maps to the houses soon on the Parade of Homes table in the Foyer and also the sign up sheet to help with food at each of the houses.  If you have questions please contact the church office at (405)372-2433.

Thank you to all who made Trunk or Treat such a huge success.  We had around 600 people participate in the event and a great time was had by all.  Thank you to Jessica, Justin and the great group from our church who made it happen.  It seems that we not only met, but exceeded our goal to be an encouragement to our friends and neighbors.  Special thanks go to the Salvation Army with Sargents Robert and Lynette Daniels for providing Hot dogs, chips, drinks and fun prizes for the event, you were a great help!!!!!

The Dessert and Quilt auction has been moved to October 2nd immediately after the morning service.  We will be enjoying a dinner that day and then after that we will start the auction.  Hope to see you there!  If you have questions please contact the church office.
